Mama Cuts a Rug

My mom.

She turned 87 today and was the star of the fashion show at our local senior center, along with my 92 year old dad – shakin’ their little tushes on the catwalk, much to everyone’s delight. This woman is the real and true Molly Brown. More than anything in life, she has taught by example that you never, ever, ever give up on something you want or need. Mama is feisty, talkative, smart, and such a bright light. She has always made friends everywhere she’s gone, working a room like nobody’s business with her heart and soul until everyone there felt seen and heard.Happy BirthDay, Mama. I love you dearly and I am ever so grateful that we have had all this time together.
